First Italian NutritionCamp to be held in Rome, at University Roma3
The fair and well-considered expoitation of resources, the conservation of the cultural heritage related to food, its relationship with health: nutrition energy will become the starting point for debating these issues at NutritionCamp, which will take place in Rome (Faculty of Economical Studies, Università Roma Tre – Roma, via Silvio d’Amico, 77), on November 14th, from 10 am to 6 pm.
At NutritionCamp – an informal conference with no audience, just active participants: everyone can offer to make a speech, in addition to commenting and taking part in the debates – the discussion will concern several topical subjects: access to food, unfair distribution of means of support, relationship between impoverishment of entire populations, climate change and global economical crisis; composition of growth and environmental sustainability; physical and psychological health, and the impact that wrong diets have on the public health expenditure; food as an instrument of study and cultural exchange.
